Odeesa came to me over twelve years ago from Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafel, California. She was the cutest black lab with those soulful eyes; I instantly fell in love. Her training went well and she went everywhere with me until at four months, her right hip went out and was removed. Fortunately I was able to adopt her, as her career as a guide was not possible. She became a therapy dog and worked in schools with the Paws For Tales program. She also became the church dog and was a comfort to many through out the years. She was my comfort when I lost my husband several years ago. Her loss to me has been extremely difficult but I focus on all the joy she has given me. Many thanks to Home to Heaven for making a difficult situation, at least peaceful for my sweet girl.
